Move a comment to the right spot
Drag a comment's pin onto a different part of the page to move the comment there, with the element highlighted as you go.
New
Clickup tasks from your threads
Connect Clickup under Settings → Connections, or from the toolbar's menu, and choose the list each project's tasks should go to. From any thread you can create a Clickup task or link one that already exists. After that, resolving the thread completes the task and reopening it opens the task again, and new comments, with their screenshots and files, are added to the task. Assigning the thread assigns the task to the same person when they're in that Clickup list.
Drag a comment to where it belongs
Grab a comment's pin and drag it onto another part of the page. The element under the pin is highlighted and named as you move, the way it is when you add a comment, so you know where it will land. Let go and the comment moves there, for everyone on the project. Drop it back on its own element to just nudge its position. The author of a comment, or anyone in the workspace who isn't a guest, can move it; resolved comments stay where they are.
A Plans page, and a clearer Billing page
Billing now shows the plan you're on, when it renews and how much of it you're using, on every plan: Free workspaces see their seats, projects, tickets and MCP calls against their limits there too. Comparing and changing plans now lives on its own Plans page in settings.
A welcome when you upgrade
Move up a plan and Quality greets you with a welcome screen, and whoever upgraded gets an email listing what the new plan unlocks.
Jira and Linear on the Free plan
Free workspaces can now connect Jira and Linear and turn up to 10 comments a month into tickets, across both tools. Linking a comment to an issue that already exists doesn't count. You can see how many you have left under Billing, and the count starts again on the first of each month. If you reach the limit, Quality tells you when it resets and offers an upgrade right there. Paid plans have no limit.
Switch theme from the workspace menu
Open the menu under your workspace's name and pick Theme to switch between light, dark or your system's setting, without going into settings.
Improved
A clearer empty Activity
When there's nothing in Activity yet, it now tells you what will show up there: mentions, replies and reactions to your comments. If you've read everything, the Unread tab says you're all caught up.
Hand a thread to your agent in fewer steps
The MCP tab in a thread's replay now matches the toolbar's MCP page: each prompt sits in one box with its own copy button, and the setup address and docs link are easy to tell apart.
A simpler MCP page in the toolbar
The MCP page in the toolbar now shows everything you need in one box: the server address, the docs link and a copy button that copies all of it, ready to paste into Claude, Codex or Cursor.
Linking a project looks the same everywhere
The dialogs for linking a project to Slack, Linear, Jira, GitHub or Clickup in Settings → Connections now look and read like the same steps in the toolbar.
A clearer start when connecting an integration
Opening Slack, Linear, Jira, Clickup or GitHub from the toolbar before it's connected now shows what you'll get, such as a thread with the issue it created or a comment posted in your Slack channel, and one button to connect.
Integration logos match everywhere
Slack, Linear, Jira, Clickup and GitHub now use the same logo wherever they appear, in the dashboard and the toolbar alike: on a thread's activity, in its header, in playback, on a project's connected apps and in Settings → Connections.
Everyone in your workspace is in every project
You no longer add people to projects one by one. Anyone who joins your workspace can open every project in it, including ones created later, with the same role they have in the workspace: owners and members everywhere as owners and members, guests everywhere as guests. Change someone's role or remove them in Settings → Members and it applies to all projects at once.
Quality on your site shows up sooner
When you're signed in, the comment button on a site that uses Quality starts loading while your session is still being checked, so it appears faster as you move between pages.
The toolbar is ready when you finish signing in
Click Comment with Quality on a site and the toolbar loads while the sign-in window is open, so it is there as soon as you are signed in.
Unlimited MCP calls on paid plans
Workspaces on a paid plan can call Quality's MCP tools from their coding agents as often as they need. A Free workspace gets 10 calls a month, shared by everyone in it; each call counts against the workspace whose thread it reads. Billing shows how many are left and when the count starts again.
Replies, reactions and resolving feel instant
A reply now appears in the thread as soon as you send it, looking exactly like every other comment, and a reaction shows the moment you tap it, including in a thread you have open in the panel. Resolving or reopening a thread takes effect straight away too, from the thread, the threads panel or the playback, with Undo right there. Everything saves in the background.
Your platform can set team members' pictures
If your hosting platform adds your team to Quality, it can now send each person's profile picture too, so the faces on comments match the ones you see on the platform.
Know when a payment needs attention
If we can't charge your card, or your subscription expires or ends, a banner at the top of the dashboard says so, for everyone in the workspace. People who manage billing can update the payment method or renew straight from it; everyone else is told to ask a workspace admin.
The plan tag only shows on Free
The plan tag next to your workspace's name, in the dashboard and in the toolbar, now only appears on the Free plan.
A cleaner share menu
The share menu on a thread and its replay has a fresh layout: the link to copy sits at the top, then a choice between sharing the replay with its DevTools or the playback only, then who has access. The same choice reads the same way in workspace settings.
The sidebar button says what it does
Point at the button beside your workspace's name and it tells you whether it will open or close the sidebar.
Fixed
The toolbar menu remembers where you were
Scroll down the toolbar's menu, open a page like MCP and go back, and the menu stays where you left it instead of jumping to the top.
One Quality toolbar on your own site
If you have the Quality extension and your site also has the Quality script, you no longer get two toolbars. While the extension is on, the site's Quality button and toolbar step aside, and they come back when you close the extension.
Deleting a comment while watching a replay
Deleting a comment from the Comments tab of a replay now asks for confirmation in front of the replay, where you can see it. The confirmation used to open behind it.
A comment's menu closes when you click away
In a replay opened from the extension, a comment's Edit and Delete menu now closes when you click anywhere outside it. It used to stay open until you picked something.
The share menu closes when you tap away
On a thread and in its replay, the share menu now closes when you click or tap anywhere outside it, and its button shows a copy icon, since it is where you copy the thread's link. Every button along the top of a thread and of a replay, in the dashboard and the extension, now names itself when you point at it, and the label slides from one button to the next.
